Taylor Swift came under fire Friday after being named the celebrity with the highest
carbon footprint from a private jet — and the 32-year-old singer's rep applauds the
"Attributing most or all of these trips to her is plain wrong.
The Grammy Award winner has been charged by the analyst agency Yard for emitting more than 800 tons of carbon dioxide in 170 flights since January.
On Monday, many Twitter users claimed Swift was responsible for her top spot,
even though others were using the plane.
"Private I love the way you spread responsibility for her jet.
Making it available to others increases our carbon footprint,” wrote one social media user.
