Philadelphia drag community mourns drag queen who collapsed on stage

Valencia Prime is a staple of the Philadelphia drug scene and has had its own live showcase called Prime Time.

While hosting this show on Monday night, she collapsed and subsequently died.

Drag Her performer Nikita Singh, her Monroe friend and colleague,

was preparing to perform elsewhere when she heard the news about Prime.

Asia Her Monroe, who is also a performer,

says she got an update on the incident because

her friends were on the show and witnessed what happened.

"I doubt the Philadelphia scene will ever be the same," said Asia Monroe.

25-year-old Valencia Her prime was in her prime as Philadelphia's popular drag queen.
