Variety has learnt exclusively from sources that Disney is aggressively

looking to create an Indiana Jones television series for Disney+.

According to reports, The Mouse House and Lucasfilm have recently brought

up the idea of a streaming series based in the realm of the travelling

archaeologist in general meetings with authors.

There are no narrative details yet because

they are still looking for a writer to take on the project

Given this, it is unclear if a television series would act as a prequel to

spinoff to the movie series or if it would connect to the impending fifth Indiana Jones movie
