Although Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the much anticipated MCU sequel

is predicted to utterly dominate the holiday box office (sorry to any Black Adam fans out there),

the movie's early ticket sales place it behind a 2022 MCU entry.

The Ryan Coogler-directed movie had $45 million in advance ticket sales as of Sunday,

placing it 20% behind Doctor Stranger In The Multiverse Of Madness,

which had $85 million in advance sales at the same time.

This can be compared to Thor: Love & Thunder, the other MCU movie from this year
