When Daniel Craig was chosen to play James Bond in the 2006 remake of Casino Royale, his celebrity skyrocketed to almost unfathomable heights. However, he has always seemed to rebel against the character’s rigid rules (and likely, audience expectations). It seems that Daniel Craig is prepared to shake things up now that he has put James Bond behind him with No Time to Die. He will do this specifically with a highly choreographed commercial for Belvedere Vodka, which will be helmed by none other than Taika Waititi, the director of Thor: Love and Thunder.
Daniel Craig is seen in a white suit, completely still in a black and white shot, at the beginning of the two-minute and a half long commercial for a Polish vodka company. The Glass Onion star grinned wryly at the camera before stomping past a group of journalists, into a car’s back door, and exiting via the other side as the scene changed to colour, dusk, and an upbeat tune (courtesy of popstar and Taika Waititi spouse Rita Ora and British rapper Giggs). Daniel Craig is currently wearing a less-007 ensemble consisting of a tight black A-shirt, a black leather jacket, a silver chain necklace, and sunglasses.
Daniel Craig advances arrogantly, pulls off his sunglasses (it is nighttime, after all), and starts to dance as he leaves the paparazzi in his wake. The future Thor brother initially makes a few minor movements here and there, but by the time he checks into a hotel in Paris, he is actively wiping his brow with a scarlet silk handkerchief, tossing it into the air, and posing for the camera as well as for the amusement of two elderly people in the elevator behind him.
