Blueface was detained in Las Vegas after an attempted murder.

On Tuesday afternoon, the 25-year-old rapper was detained outside a store in Las Vegas.

On Tuesday, November 15, BLUEFACE WAS DETAINED outside a place of business in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that the rapper, Johnathan Porter, had been detained on suspicion of crimes related to a shooting that occurred on October 8, 2022.

He will be taken into custody at the Clark County Detention Center on warrants for firing a gun at or into an occupied building and attempted murder with a deadly weapon.

According to Blueface’s manager, Wack 100, the singer was dining at Lo-Chicken Lo’s & Waffles with his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, at the time of the arrest.

The 2018 smash “Thotiana” by the 25-year-old rapper, which got two official remixes from YG and Cardi B, is his most well-known song. On the Billboard Hot 100, “Thotiana” peaked at number eight.

His first mixtape, Famous Cryp, reached its peak position of 29 on the Billboard 200.

The Los Angeles native initially gained notoriety with “Respect My Cryppin” in May 2018, which featured his infamously off-kilter flow and received divisive reviews from the general public. The former Fayetteville State University football player joined Cash Money West in June 2018 and has since emerged as a prominent presence in the LA rap scene. Since then, he has put out his 2019 Dirt Bag EP and a 2020 album named Find The Beat, but he has also gotten into a tonne of trouble.

Rock, a fellow artist, and his relationship with the public have been dysfunctional. The two were seen fighting on camera in Los Angeles in August. A few weeks later, Rock was arrested following an altercation with Blueface in Arizona, and in a subsequent incident, Blueface is believed to have struck Rock’s father in Los Angeles. A warrant was issued for Blueface and two other guys in November 2021 after they assaulted a bouncer outside a bar in the San Fernando Valley. He was detained for Felony Gun Possession following a traffic stop in Hollywood earlier this year.
